Ella and Summit are best buds. Here they are resting in a hole they dug together. They also chase each other around the house daily, and if you were to come by our house you just may be greeted by their two faces, both barking at you from the window. Lately Ella has started renaming Summit and herself. Somedays he's Peter (rabbit) and she's Flopsy (his sister). Sometimes they're characters from The Land Before Time (yesterday she called him Sarah all day) but most confusing to me is when he's Ella and she's Summit.

Ella and Ayden are too cute together on this day they insisted on holding hands as we walked along and whenever they would have to part Ayden would cry out "Ella hand!" and reach for her. Ella has started making verbal "to do" lists. The list usually starts "First we go to coffee with Ayden and his mommy, then we go to Boston and feed the ducks" When I explain why we can't fit all her "to do's" into our schedule she says "BUT I SAID First..." as if just listing things to do makes them happen (don't we all wish it was this easy!)

For my birthday this month Ella and Nana made me this beautiful cake. Ella told Nana that she thought I should have a house on my cake. And because Ella couldn't be persuaded to an easier cake theme, Nana got creative and built a house out of gram crackers with pretzel windows and candy trees.
