Christmas Day 2006

On Christmas morning Ella entered the living room and screamed "Big Red Dog" as she ran to cuddle with her new friend. Her excitement was contagious.
Ella loved her tea set from Mimi and Pubah!
Opening presents took all day as Ella took time to play with each new toy.
Nana and Papa gave Ella these wonderful blocks and helped her build towers.
Thank you Auntie Deb and Cecil, Ella loves her Ugly doll.

Bring on the Holidays

sibling rivalry
that's more like it!
Ella was a big help in preparing Christmas brunch
It was fun watching Ella play with her second cousins Rachel and Cierran
Ella's favorite part of making Christmas cookies! In fact when she got a utensil set from Santa for her little kitchen the first thing she did was lick the wire wisk. Also note she's wearing a reindeer shirt, next to her Clifford pants this is her favorite piece of clothing. She has us sing Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman nonstop on any car ride. Thank God Greg downloaded the songs to our i-pod for a more pleasant driving experience!

December Begins

Holding up the letter N Ella tells us "Nana"
The weather has been so lovely (mid 60's) that we went to the lake in our town to throw rocks. Ella decided to go for a dip also.
Ella, Nana and Clifford enjoyed the water dancing at Jordon's furniture store
Where's Ella? This is a questions we're often asking these days as she has become quite a good little hider, thank goodness she's also a giggler!
Ever since Ella learned a song about toast popping in her Kindermusik class she loves toast and ask for it at every meal.

The many faces of Ella

We play a little game where we ask Ella to show us a facial expression. Here she is showing us her Surprised look.
Ella showing us her Stressed look.
Ella's sad look. I once asked her to show me an angry face and she thought for a bit and then tried to squish her face together with her hands.
ready to give kisses
Thankfully this is the face we see most often. Our happy girl
