We did not pass court yesterday, calling it a bummer is a major understatement. There are many pieces that need to be gathered for court and circumstances beyond the control of our agency led to those pieces not coming together. They will try again in two weeks. We will not need to travel for that court date. It is very difficult leaving M and not having a good guess on when we'll be able to return for her.

I'm so sorry, Steph. We love you guys and are interceding in prayer on your behalf. We so look up to you guys--what incredible parents you are and how much you bless those around you!! Praying for much peace for you guys in this time and much favor with the whole adoption process. Love, K&B
We are sorry to hear about this setback. We have been thinking about you and your adoption journey and will continue to pray for you and your family. We have recently read "Carried Safely Home" (by Kristin Swick Wong), a book about the struggles of international adoption from a Christian faith perspective. It is a wonderful book that we wish we had read during our first adoption. It may give some comfort and support during this difficult time. One of the points we liked was "Nothing but God himself can move this baby from the orphanage to our home."
Our prayers are with you.
Bryan and Toanh, your Tenwek friends
