Sassy!

When Ella was going through chemo she lost a lot of her hair, but not all of it. So as her hair has grown out she has long strands being pushed up by her new hair. This leaves her looking messy, and a bit like she has mullet. But, she liked her hair long and was adamant that she did not want it cut. And we did not want to press the issue but would bring it up casually every once and awhile to no avail. Well, yesterday her good friend Izzy was over sporting a cute new haircut and told Ella about the salon where she went (and the bowl of candy that was there.) And then I told Ella that if she'd get her hair trimmed I'd take her to Mallards- her favorite ice cream shop. Suddenly she was willing to cut her hair! So jumping on the opportunity we made an appointment and brought her in today.

Her hair is growing in the same color as before but much thicker.

After the cut we then met up with Greg and Bini at Mallards and Ella has enjoyed surprising everyone with her sassy new look.
