Meeting Biniyam
I feel that there is so much to post, so many amazing pictures and stories from our time in Ethiopia. But for now I'll just stick to our favorite little man Biniyam and pictures of our time with him. We don't know much about the first 2 months of Biniyam's life but we do know that he was named Biniyam, the Ethiopian version of Benjamin, for Benjamin in the Bible-the younger brother of Joseph. The name means "son of my right hand" and we have decided to keep it as his first name. His middle name we changed to Ezra, our favorite boys name.
The first picture we took of Biniyam. It's a bit of an odd thing to walk into a room and ask which child is yours! I think we must have asked 3 or 4 times "so this is Biniyam?" just to be sure.

Congrats! I love the story about his name. Can't wait to hear more!
Looking at these pictures - they are so beautiful! I am so happy for you and for him as he lucked out with some pretty awesome parents. - Christina
Totally understand the 4 1/2 year old thing :-) That's how old my daughter was when Josiah came home, too.
So glad he seems to be adjusting well. He's precious!
He is just so handsome! Congratulations! Love the new pic of the kids together at the top of your page :)
