Months ago, in an effort to inspire potty training, we promised Ella a bunny if she would always use the potty. Although she still needed small prizes for daily inspiration she did not forget our big bunny promise. She told us she wanted a purple bunny and to name it Lollipop ( we have no idea where she came up with the name, but she came up with it all on her own and when asked she just says "I like that name") Thankfully 2 weeks ago she decided she really wanted a gray rabbit (much easier for us to find!)

Here we meet Lollipop for the first time at the breeders. She is a 2 year old Holland Lop, grew up with dogs and is used of being handled by 60 4H kids/week. Ella had to pick from 8 rabbits but after meeting Lollipop she would hold another rabbit and say "oh look my bunny is hopping that way" referring to Lollipop

Ella spent all sat morning hugging and playing with Lollipop. She is such a sweet bunny and just let Ella cuddle her for hours.
Summit and her seem to get along well too. He's been curious but very gentle. Lollipop will be an outdoor rabbit but we couldn't resist playing with her inside today.

Oh, my goodness! How adorable! I love that Ella picked out her own rabbit and named him, too. (And, yes, how lucky that she decided on a gray rabbit rather than a purple one. lol!) I'm impressed with how calm your rabbit is around a toddler. I had heard that lops had very calm temperments.
Wow! It is so fun to see how much Ellas has grown. She is beautiful! Love that rabbit!
Miss you!
I love this blog. We visit it frequently and we feel so connected to you guys even though it has been a long time since we've talked. Blessings to you all. Love & prayers, Bina
