Ella loves playing with her "Little People" and we enjoy listening in on the conversations she makes them have. Common themes are the mommy telling the girl it's time for a nap, playing hide and seek, and recently I overheard the daddy say "bye bye, going to Ghana." then she had him walk across the room and say "Ghana, Ghana, Hi Ghana." Ghana has become a big theme in this 2 year olds life this month as Greg prepared for and left on a 3 week Medical Missions trip to Ghana, Africa. You can see more about what Greg is doing at www.mercyships.org

Hide and seek, or 1-2-3 as it has come to be known in our house, is Ella's favorite game. We play it all the time and since she can only count up to 3 it can be quite exhausting for those of us who are leaping into new hiding places. Here Greg got creative and hid in Ella's tube.

The abominable Ella

Sharing a snack at playgroup with Lauren, Sarah, and Marisa.

Tea for Summit- who has had a rough season. First he was diagnosed with Lyme disease by routine blood work. He got antibiotics and we'll find out in a few months if it has cleared his body. Then this month he got his tail slammed in a car door. Poor puppy ended up at the vet in the middle of the night getting a portion of his tail amputated and having to be on more antibiotics. He's been a great sport through it all and it's really made us appreciate what a wonderful dog he is.
